    • Hosted a VIP Center for 148 member-winners at the SESLOC Festival of Lights to watch the Santa Maria Parade of Lights in style.
  • Reduced or eliminated select Overdraft fees, giving relief to those who need help building healthy savings habits.
  • Gave a Boost to Savings, with reverse-tier rates on personal Primary Share Savings, you’re now earning more dividends on the first $1,000 in savings.
  • Made it easier to earn a Level Up Member Benefits program³ Savings Point, lowering the deposit balance requirement from $10,000+ to just $5,000+.
  • Launched tiered rates on select Share Certificates, where you earn more dividends on higher balances.
  • Hosted our popular SESLOC Shred Day events and destroyed 21 tons of confidential documents.
  • Awarded $19,125 to 326 members in prizes for our Save to Win 12-month Share Certificate⁴, all the while building healthy savings habits.
  • Continued to offer $1,000 in Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance via TruStage⁵, at no cost to you.
  • Helped monthly budgets go further with our Holiday Skip a Pay program, where members can skip a payment on eligible loans to free up cash for the holidays.

  • Introduced Instant Funds loans⁶, a small dollar loan and affordable alternative to Payday Loans, where members can be funded for up to $3000 in less than 60 seconds!
  • Became a preferred lender for Cal Poly’s faculty and staff housing developments, extending our affordable home loan opportunities to the campus community.
  • Enhanced the FHA and VA home loan process, so we can streamline the home buying process for those eligible for FHA loans and Veterans who served our country.
  • Began offering 84-month terms on Business Vehicle Loans and reduced processing fees, ensuring affordability for local businesses.
  • Welcomed 191 new local businesses to our ranks, helping them get the banking services they need to thrive on the Central Coast.
  • Expanded the Financial Education in the Workplace program, where we provide lunch-n-learns and other educational opportunities to staff at local businesses.
  • Presented 20 financial education seminars to a combined 387 attendees at community groups, such as the City of San Luis Obispo, the Family Care Network, and Hardy Diagnostics.
  • Hosted a Bite of Reality Fair at Pacific Beach and Central Coast New Tech High School, where students participated in a real-world living and budgeting simulation.
  • Awarded 9 volunteers the SESLOC Cares Award, for their valuable contributions to local nonprofits, which was shared on News Channel 12.
  • Hit the streets to see which residents have “Common Cents” by asking money questions, a fun segment that aired on KSBY.
  • Recognized and celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month.
  • Hosted our third Cal Poly Student Intern program, providing an opportunity for real-world experience.
  • Awarded 47 Education Grants to Central Coast school teachers. That’s $22,138 to expand classroom resources!
  • Presented 10 financial education webinars to 212 participants and 342 who watched the recording later, plus 2 more from our partners at Greenpath Financial Wellness.
  • Presented 8 financial education workshops to 415 Cal poly students.
  • Offered the SESLOC Financial Scholars Program to 12 local high schools, in which students complete financial education modules. Since we launched the program 5 years ago, nearly 3,500 students have completed the curriculum.
  • Provided information on low-cost financial services and free financial education to over 500 people at 7 employer resource fairs, including Atascadero State Hospital and Diablo Power Plant.
  • Published over 110 educational articles, eBooks, and how-tos to help both individuals and businesses be money smart.
  • Hosted Kids, Tweens & Teens Week in branch and online to help kids learn the importance of savings, offering games, toys and prizes.

  • Chatted with the public and community leaders at the Santa Maria Chamber Business Expo and Job Fair.
  • Connected with local businesses and highlighted our Local Rewards program participants at the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce’s EXPO at the Expo.
  • Showcased the free financial education resources SESLOC offers on campus at the Cal Poly Open House, SLO Days Resource Fair and WOW Week.
  • Hosted a “Bike Breakfast” at our Headquarters in support of SLO Rideshare’s Bike to Work Week, a special event encouraging alternative commuting.
  • Provided free financial education resources to attendees at the Paso Robles Consulado Movil, an event hosted by the Mexican Consulate.
  • Partnered with La Buena radio station to deliver free lunch to farm workers in Northern Santa Barbara County, every Wednesday in May through October.
  • Hosted interactive financial workshops for Cal Poly students, including Dollars & Sense and Saving for Your Future.
  • Connected Cal Poly students with financial resources that are on- and off-campus during the Mustang News SLO Living Fair and answered students’ money questions at weekly Money Mondays.
  • Informed the community of our services at Skyway Nights.
  • Chatted with local educators and community leaders at the Santa Maria Chamber’s 2024 State of Education event.
  • Interacted with the crowd at the 81st Annual Santa Maria Elks Rodeo & Parade.
  • Connected with the community at the Santa Maria Day in the Park.
  • Supported the annual Day of Hope fundraiser in support of Mission Hope Cancer Center.
  • Informed Allan Hancock College students of affordable banking services and free financial education available in their community at the spring and fall  Bulldog Bow Wow events and the Hancock Hello resource fairs.
  • Got in the Halloween spirt at Lompoc Old town Trick or Treat, Toyota Santa Maria’s annual Trunk or Treat and the Village of Arroyo Grande’s Halloween event.
  • Partnered with AGM and Sunny Country radio for a turkey drive in support of the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County to provide wholesome holiday meals to local families who are struggling financially.
  • Hosted a VIP section for lucky winners at the SESLOC Festival of Lights entertainment zone at the Santa Maria Parade of Lights.
  • Partnered with Radio Lazer to host Navidad De Los Ninos at the Paso Robles branch, a toy drive that gifted families with holiday presents.

  • Earned nearly 170 million SESLOC Rewards Points on eligible debit and credit card purchases.
  • Made more than 150,000 check deposits on the SESLOC Mobile app, skipping a branch visit and saving time.

Participating Local Businesses (“merchants”) are subject to change at any time without notice. Purchases made at participating merchants processed through third-party services (e.g. DoorDash, Grub Hub, Uber Eats ect.) may not qualify for bonus points under Local Rewards. 3. The Level Up Member Benefits Program (“Program”) is provided by SESLOC Credit Union (“Credit Union”). The Program is available to select consumer memberships, for which the primary consumer member is eighteen (18) years in age or older and is a member in good standing with the Credit Union. The Program is automatically available to an eligible consumer membership. Please visit seslocstaging.wpengine.com, Online Banking or any branch for the Level Up Member Benefits Program Disclosure (“Disclosure”) for more information regarding the terms and conditions of the Program. Certain restrictions and other limitations apply. By establishing or maintaining an eligible consumer membership you are accepting the terms and conditions of the Program. If you prefer not to participate in the Program you may opt-out, see the Disclosure for more details. The Program terms, conditions and benefits may be amended at the sole discretion of the Credit Union and are subject to change without notice, except where required by law.
4. Limit one Save to Win 12-month Share Certificate per consumer member. The account is not available to businesses, including sole proprietors, trusts and organizations. Consumer member must be 18 years or older and a resident of California to participate in the Save to Win Savings Promotion. No purchase necessary. 12-month Share Certificate account will automatically renew upon maturity. Early withdrawal incurs a penalty fee, with a limit of one withdrawal per 12-month term. Must maintain an average daily balance of $25.00 for the account to remain open. Winners agree to permit SESLOC CU to use their likeness in promotional or their materials. Membership in good standing required for all Credit Union benefits. 5. TruStage® AD&D Insurance is offered by TruStage Insurance Agency, LLC and underwritten by CMFG Life Insurance Company. The insurance offered is not a deposit and is not federally insured or guaranteed by your credit union. For members age 18 and older. AD&D insurance costs between $10.00 & $15.00 per month for $100,000 of coverage. 6. All loans subject to approval and underwriting criteria, including eligibility and banking and membership history; not every applicant will qualify. Members with an open Workout and/or Repayment loans are not eligible to open an Instant Funds loan. If approved, funds will automatically be deposited into the account selected during the application process. The due date selection and automatic monthly payment pre-authorizations occur at the time the loan is booked. Depending on the due date selected, the first payment date may be less than or more than 30 days from funding. The automatic payments will be debited from the same account the loan proceeds were deposited into. The entire payment amount must be available in the account for the payment to process. Payments received 15 days after the due date are subject to a late charge. Payday Loan Payment Example: A $2,000 loan, at 28.00% APR for 12 months would have an estimated monthly payment of $193.64. Life Event Loan Payment Example: A $3,000 loan, at 18.00% APR for 36 months would have an estimated monthly payment of $109.22.
