SESLOC Education Grants provide funding to support innovation and expand supplies at local K-12 schools. Here’s how a few teachers recently used grants to kick off the new school year:
Arellanes Junior High School teacher Judith Morries bought supplies for a Lego Lunch Challenge for her students.
Grover Heights Elementary School teacher Sara Clarin bought spike ball equipment for her P.E. class.
Laguna Middle School teacher Jana Mooney bought a digital camera for her yearbook class.
Shandon High School teacher Savannah Florek bought supplies for a welding class.
Adam Elementary School teacher Rebecca Pinto bought ABC zoo alphabet books for her Kindergarten students.
With our roots as a credit union for San Luis Obispo county educators, SESLOC has a strong commitment to education. Wherever learning occurs, we support creativity and innovation through our Education Grants program.
Pre-K through 12th grade teachers and directors of enrichment programs at accredited schools within San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties are invited to apply for grants up to $500 to fund special projects and expand classroom resources.
SESLOC supports our community. Help us support local schools by sharing the grant application with Central Coast teachers or applying today.
