Local Teachers Expand Curriculums With SESLOC Education Grants

SESLOC Education Grants helped local teachers make the 2023–2024 school year extra special. Here’s how a few recent recipients used their grants:

  • Sinsheimer Elementary School in San Luis Obispo bought supplies for students to help the teacher raise baby chicks.
  • Nipomo Elementary School acquired track and field equipment to enhance the physical education curriculum.
  • Ocean View Elementary School in Arroyo Grande purchased a subscription to Scholastic News for a lesson on following and analyzing current events.
  • Plus, multiple teachers have been able to buy phonics tools and books to support childhood literacy.

Help us continue to support local schools by sharing the grant application with local teachers or applying today.
