We’re partnering with News Channel 12 to honor nonprofit volunteers who make our community thrive. Each month, we’re choosing a different nonprofit and asking them to select a valuable volunteer to receive the SESLOC Cares for Community Award. We are thrilled to introduce our latest recipient, Fran Talmadge, from the OASIS Senior Center in Orcutt.
Meet Fran Talmadge, a beacon of kindness with a heart of gold. Raised with boundless creativity by her loving parents, Fran learned early the joy of giving back.
As long as she has been a member and volunteer, Fran has served at food distributions, fundraising events, center events, serving lunch, or any odd jobs in and around the OASIS Center office. Fran’s impact, from farmers market to food distributions, echoes through every corner of OASIS.
