We’re partnering with News Channel 12 to honor nonprofit volunteers who make our community thrive. Each month, we’re choosing a different nonprofit and asking them to select a valuable volunteer to receive the SESLOC Cares for Community Award. We are thrilled to introduce our latest recipient, Michael Camacho-Craft, from the Good Samaritan Shelter.
Michael Camacho-Craft, Good Samaritan Shelter board member, embodies compassion and dedication. For 30 years, Michael has guided and shaped lives, laying the foundation for a multi-county agency.
Programs he helped create now serve over 2,000 clients monthly from shelter to sobriety, from housing to habilitation, from human trafficking to mental health treatment.
Michael’s impact from trauma services to staff empowerment is profound. A family man and leader, he serves quietly and humbly.
Congratulations on being chosen as the recipient of the SESLOC Cares for Community award!
