SESLOC Education Grants helped local teachers kick off the new year with support for special projects to engage students. Here’s how a few recent recipients used their grants:
- Santa Maria High School used funds for scripts, costumes, and more for the Drama Club to put on a production.
- Paloma Creek High School in Atascadero bought supplies for students to make custom mugs for their student-run coffee shop.
- Central Coast New Tech High School in Nipomo purchased supplies for students to develop a line of self-care products for a lesson in entrepreneurship.
- Plus, multiple teachers have been able to buy books and learning tools.
