During the month of August, we hosted a fundraiser for Jack’s Helping Hand, a local nonprofit that supports special needs children and their families. Together, SESLOC members and employees raised over $4,000 in support of the Jack Ready Imagination Park. We are thankful to those who could donate, especially during this concerning time.
Over the last six years, we’ve raised $39,000 to help complete a universally accessible playground within the 33-acre park in Nipomo. One in 10 children in San Luis Obispo County has special needs for physical disabilities, serious illnesses, injuries or birth defects, and this park will allow them to play along-side abled-bodied children in a safe, sunny and beautiful environment.
