SESLOC staff and their families took to the beach the Saturday after the Fourth of July to tidy up the coastline. The group of volunteers met at Pismo Beach and picked up trash, collecting several bags full of debris left from the holiday festivities.
“The Beach Clean Up day was important because it helps keep our local beaches clean, and our oceans healthy,” says Eduardo Guzman, Arroyo Grande Branch Manager. Last year, SESLOC committed to 80 acts of local sustainability to help preserve our local environment in honor of our 80th anniversary. While our 80th is over, the spirit of giving back and finding ways to make a difference in our community lives on.
