Trying to declutter your mailbox? In addition to freeing up space and reducing paper waste, opting out of paper mail can help prevent mail theft identity theft. Here are some resources for managing mail delivery from SESLOC, as well as other senders:

Sign up for eStatements: Sign up to receive account and loan statements through Online Banking. Learn how to enroll.

Enroll in Bill Pay: Bill Pay is a safe and secure service that allows you to receive, view, and pay bills through Online Banking. Learn how to enroll.

You can manage your SESLOC email subscription by changing your preferences to only receive educational materials and alerts, or by unsubscribing entirely (please note that opting-out of marketing emails will not impact the delivery of Online Banking alerts, Bill Pay, and eStatement notifications):

Do Not Call Registry: Sign up for the national registry held by the Federal Trade Commission to prevent telemarketers from contacting you at donotcall.gov.

Opt-out of prescreened credit or insurance offers: The Fair Credit Reporting Act allows you to opt-out of prescreened offers by preventing Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies from providing your file information. Opt-out online at optoutprescreen.com, call 1-888-567-8688, or write to each agency at: TransUnion Opt-Out Request, PO Box 505, Woodlyn, PA 19094-0505; Experian Consumer Opt-Out, Inc, PO Box 919, Allen, TX 75013; Equifax Options, PO Box 740123, Atlanta, GA 30374-0123

Opt-out of Direct Marketing Association/Data & Marketing Association (DMA) lists: Register at dmachoice.org. There is a $2 online processing fee to be removed for 10 years, and a $3 fee if requesting via mail. There is no charge to register for the Deceased Do Not Contact List or the Caregivers Do Not Call List. Learn more at ftc.gov.
